Welcome, or welcome back, to snowsports at the University of York! YUsnow is a competitive sporting and social club for for face-planters to professionals who either want to do it competitively or simply go on our epic trips to the Alpes.

Membership is available for £20 throughout the year, either during Fresher’s Week at our massive stall in the sports hall, or every week after that at Snow Stalls (Monday 12-2pm at Vanbrugh Stalls). This bargain will enable you to:

• Attend lessons, recreational sessions, race and freestyle training.
• Get involved at the immense socials.
• Receive discounts and benefits from our sponsors.
• Come away on our 2011/12 trip to Tignes to hit the real white stuff.
• Be a part of one of the most active, popular clubs on campus, with over 500 other members for you to get to know.

2010/11 was a great year for YUsnow – some brilliant racing results, the freestyle team going from strength to strength, and the socials have been really well attended. Les Arcs 2011 was a resounding success, as we took 250 snow-loving students to the Alps for a week of skiing and boarding followed by some amazing nights out.

2011/12 is going to be bigger, better and snowier. Don’t miss out!
