Freestyle

 

YUsnow is also getting involved in national ski and snowboard freestyle competitions. Individuals will be able to compete both on the university and the national circuit, covering all types of conditions from dendex (dry slope) to European snow. Regardless if you aim to compete or enjoy freestyle for what it is, anyone is welcome to come to sessions. We run weekly sessions at both Castleford SNO!zone park and Rossendale’s snowflex park. This means that we have access to practice the three main disciplines of freestyle: big air, slope style and half pipe.

 

Sessions at Castleford cost £25 for 2 hours including hire. Please bring some change for petrol money for our drivers.

Freestyle Sessions in Term 3 Training is every Friday at Castleford on REAL SNOW, meet at YUSU office at 6pm Yusnow is going to SNO!Down Freestyle Competiton on the evening of the 15th May 2010. Please email snow@yusu.org if you want to attend.
