Racing

YUsnow competes in the Kings northern league and at the British Universities Dryslope Championships (BUDS) on dryslope, at the British Universities Indoor Snowsports Championships (BUISC) on indoor snow and at the BUSC Main Event on real snow.

Term 2 training will be on Tuesday nights at Castleford, meeting at the James College Reception at 7:30 pm. Training will be from 9 – 11 and costs £25. Please email in if you would like to attend. Please note there will be no training week 6.

The majority of our ski and snowboard teams had no alpine racing experience when they arrived in York, so any competent skier/boarder is welcome to come along and give it a go. We also have equipment that new racers can borrow if they decide to come along frequently.
