NEXT SOCIAL:  1st December

Ever been to a traffic light party? Well we are now going to put our own twist on that concept, as the next social is:

YUsnow presents the SHARKS AND LIFEGUARDS!

So the main aim is:
If you’re single, you are a SHARK
If you’re not, then you are a LIFEGUARD

There will be 2 sets of challenges depending on what you are dressed as, and these will be bigger and better than the ones you did for the Hunt!

Starting off in D bar, we’ll head to town around half 9, then do a mini bar crawl around micklegate (with the odd game of naked table football in Flares) and then head over to Ziggys!

So get those costumes ready, once again this is going to be massive! Drinks deals in each of the bars and fantastic prizes for best dressed.

Golf balls and shoeing will still be around.

Next Social: Wednesday 2nd Novemeber 2011. Theme: Disney!

Dress up as any animal of your choice, and we’ll pair you off ‘two by two’. Get ready for a fantastic introduction to York’s biggest club on campus!

YUsnow socials are an important part of getting to know your fellow students who share the same love of all things snow-related – of course this involves an odd drink or 10. This year’s social secretaries, Josh and Charlie, have refined this to an art and wish to share the skills with you. We aim to make nights out as memorable as possible for you, or not, if you wake up hazy the next morning.

Being the largest club on campus, we also pride ourselves on having the biggest and best socials, including the cheapest drinks deals and best prizes…

This year we have managed to get a quite frankly awesome deal which will continue our run of funnel drinking, golf balling, hangover inducing socials.

The socials will be fortnightly, all themed and generally involving some drinking games, banter and a pretty fantastic night out for a fantastic low price (due to our sponsorship deals with Ziggys/Mansion nightclub and Vudu Lounge.

Our YUsnow trip this year is to Tignes and it’s gonna be one to remember; 300 YUsnowers with socials every night! After a good day’s skiing what better way to finish the evening than dressing up outrageously and showing everyone else how to do a social properly. YUsnow is the place to be for a party, and we are gonna show you how to do it!
